Present at 61 of 62 council meetings (98%) between 26 January 2023 and 20 March 2026, according to the City's signed minutes: on leave 1 time, absent without leave never.
The councillors elected on 4 November 2026 aren't on this site yet; the 2026 wards were redrawn, so a new ward 96 may cover different suburbs.

Nothing found about Ward 96 yet. None of the 10 transcribed sitting days (26 May 2026 to 30 September 2026) and none of the 65 sets of signed minutes (26 January 2023 to 20 March 2026) names Ward 96 or a place that the City's list puts only in this ward, and its councillor wasn't recorded saying "my ward". That doesn't mean council never discussed it: most items are about the whole city, and many places span several wards. See Rufas Maswazi's page for what they said in council.
How items are linked to this ward (no AI makes a link on its own): the text names "Ward 96"; or the ward's councillor says "my ward" while they have the floor (who has the floor is an AI reading of the transcript, checked against a quote); or it names a place that the City's 2022 ward list puts in this ward and no other. Every place-name match was read by hand; false friends (a street or person with a suburb's name) are excluded. A ward number in the text always wins over a place name. A promise also links here when a City document matched to it (by AI, then checked by hand) puts the project in this ward; AI matches nobody has checked don't count. Places that span several wards (Alexandra, Diepkloof, Orlando, most of Soweto) link nowhere, so this page misses items about them. Searched: 10 transcribed sitting days (26 May 2026 to 30 September 2026) and the votes and motions in 65 sets of signed minutes (26 January 2023 to 20 March 2026).
